QE is an emerging downstream petrochemical company that focuses primarily on the development of Qeshm’s enormous potential in energy projects, with an emphasis on gas value added and petrochemical industries.

QE was founded in 2004 as a joint venture between the Qeshm Free Zone Authority and the private sector. The venture has been formed to function as an executive arm for Qeshm Free Area’s energy projects focusing on gas-value add projects. The partnership brings together valuable experience and capacity in the areas of project management, project finance and implementation. The company plans to contribute actively to Qeshm’s development as the Persian Gulf’s largest hub for energy related industries and activities by designing, developing, financing and implementing gas-related projects on this strategically located Island.
